　　我之所以选择申请威斯康星麦迪逊大学，是因为它是美国最著名的公立大学之一，也是世界领先的研究型大学。威斯康辛麦迪逊大学有很多优秀的院系，比如地理，商业，历史，工程，食品科学等等。根据美国国家研究委员会的研究成果，威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校有20个学科排在美国的前十位，它还是美国大学联合会的60个成员之一。我的偶像，中国工程院院士李培根便是1987年在威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校获得博士学位。威斯康星麦迪逊大学的校园社区生活是非常有活力和多样化的，学生可以参与事务中的艺术，文化，政治，服务，社会问题，和学生自治。我觉得丰富的校园生活也是我选择威斯康星麦迪逊大学的最重要的原因之一。
　　作为一名学生，除了学习成绩优秀之外，我觉得也需要积极参加课外活动，并依据个人兴趣做一些科学研究。首先，学生的根本任务是学习，我应该认真听老师讲课，在课堂上学习更多的知识。一般大学里还有许多学术讲座，我要充分利用这些学术活动，并启发我在科学某一领域的学术兴趣。课外活动是大学的一大特色，参加课外活动，不仅可以结识新朋友，也可以学到很多东西，比如人际交往能力，口才，思维方式等。作为一名马上就要学商科的学生，我认为沟通能力是非常重要的。我也准备参加一些商业有关的课外活动，如寻找赞助商，为销售兼职工作，组织小型商业活动，实践中商业公司等。学术研究并不是本科生的学习目标，但我觉得我应该尝试做一些科学研究。科学问题研究小组是比较容易加入的，我能找到一些有趣的问题。如果可能的话，我会申请成为教授的助手，帮助他处理一些简单的问题，或者以某种方式做一些深入的研究。
　　由于我的高中不是在我家乡读的，我可以照顾好自己，能很容易适应新的环境。我非常喜欢美国文化。我喜欢看美国电影，NBA比赛，美丽的风景等等。所以我认为一般情况很难影响到我，当然除了一点，美国的食物。我听说麦当劳食品是美国最好的食物，这吓了我一跳。你知道，中国菜非常好吃，我在中国吃东西有很多选择，不喜欢吃快餐，如麦当劳和肯德基。也许我去美国的话需要带上电饭煲和中国锅了。
