　　unisextoilet
　　sex一般分为男性和女性：man和woman或male和female，
　　sex前面加uni又是什么性别？其实很多我们常见的单词前缀都有uni的身影。
　　例如：universe宇宙、union同盟、uniform制服、unity团结，都有统一的含义。
　　uni也就是one单一的，而unisex还受unitedanduniversal（联合和通用的）的影响，这些词中，有shared（共用、共享）的意思。
　　所以，unisex后来指：notsexspecific，suitableforanytypeofsex。（不分性别的）
　　unisexclothing中性衣服
　　unisexshose中性鞋子
　　unisexperfume中性香水
　　unisexname中性名字
　　unisexsize男女通用尺码
　　因此unisextoilet就是男女通用厕所，也可以叫genderneutral，mixedsex或者allgendertoilets。
　　这种国外常见的中性厕所设施为跨性别人群和性别二元之外的人提供便利，但也受到关于安全隐私Securityandprivacy的争议。
　　2016年，上海在开设了第一个男女通用厕所。国内大多无性别厕所是为了解决男厕所放空、女厕外排队的难题，而不是专门为了服务性少数群体。但这种设置并没有被民众普遍接受。
